The students loved making volcanos during the session, especially when using the dry ice to make them come to life!

A group of children attended the Hull School’s Boccia Championships at Hull University. We entered two teams who both did very well. Team 1 with Jason, Makenzie and Andrei came third and secured a bronze medal. Team 2 with Ameen, Ben and Liam came first and secured a gold medal. Team 2 will now qualify

As part of our Life Skills lessons around community and involvement we have started a partnership between ourselves and St Mary’s Care Home. We recently visited Magna as part of our Science curriculum. The children enjoyed a hands-on approach to learning and explored Magna’s four pavilions throughout the day.

The students attended the Guildhall for the end celebration event of ‘Make £5 Blossom’. The students have gained some invaluable skills whilst being a part of the project and are excited to spend the profit they made.

Jodie, our business partner from Brown Sugar, came to visit us this term. She told us all about her business and answered lots of questions for us! Jodie also brought some nail tech equipment which the children had a go at doing. We had a great afternoon!
