Hull Active Schools Goalball Tournament
A group of 6 students represented Rising Stars fantastically at this event. They all did amazing and won a gold medal for winning their event! Well done to Ameen, Andrei, Ben, Christian, Keiran and Makenzie.

Bulb planting with Labour Councillor Peter North
A group of students helped the local Labour Councillor Peter North with bulb planting this afternoon. We had to clear out the planters of weeds and then plant over 100 bulbs. The children were fantastic and did this very efficiently. We will be checking in on them next year to see how they have done.

Panathlon Tenpin Bowling
Two teams from Rising Stars took part in the Panathlon Tenpin Bowling. All students did fantastic and one team finished top overall with a team average of 103. Special mention to Jake, Jamie and Callum who all bowled over 100 and joined the Panathlon 100 club. In addition, Jamie also top scored overall with an
Lab Rascals Volcano Making
The students loved making volcanos during the session, especially when using the dry ice to make them come to life!
Hull School’s Boccia Championships
A group of children attended the Hull School’s Boccia Championships at Hull University. We entered two teams who both did very well. Team 1 with Jason, Makenzie and Andrei came third and secured a bronze medal. Team 2 with Ameen, Ben and Liam came first and secured a gold medal. Team 2 will now qualify

St Mary’s Care Home
As part of our Life Skills lessons around community and involvement we have started a partnership between ourselves and St Mary’s Care Home.
