Parents
Who are we?
We are an enhanced targeted provision which caters for KS3 students with moderate learning difficulties. We are made up of qualified teachers, advanced needs practitioners and experienced teaching assistants.
Where are we?
We are based on the site of Francis Askew Primary School on North Road in West Hull. We have a separate building with our own facilities.
What do we do?
We provide full-time education for children with cognition and learning and speech and language and communication needs who have Educational Health Care Plans. Our curriculum is a blend of academic teaching, social skills, independence skills and enrichment opportunities.
How did we start?
Before the 2021-2022 academic year we were an outreach and in reach provision for children with SEMH at KS2 and KS3. This academic year we have now become an enhanced targeted provision with a focus on academic study and independence and life skills. We currently have 15 year 7 students who are taught in three classes. We will be expanding in September to take another group of children.
